Lil Nas is a rapper, singer, and composer from the United States. His breakout hit was the country rap song "Old Town Road," which first went viral in early 2019 and then climbed the charts around the world before reaching diamond certified in November of the same year, moving over ten million certified copies in streaming and sales combined.

Lil Nas X broke the internet by coming out as homosexual on the final day of Pride. Due to this, his social media following exploded, reaching over 2 million on Twitter and 3 million on Instagram.

He was one of the nominatees for 5 Teen Choice Awards nominations, including Breakout Artist and Choice R&B & Hip Hop Song.

His song "Old Town Road" was at the top of the charts for 14 weeks running and the music video would enlist some major A-list talent like Rico Nasty, Vince Staples, Diplo, Chris Rock, HahaDavis, and others...

Lil Nas X has proven himself to be a viral sensation by teaming up with the great himself, Gordan Ramsay, for the "Panini" Remix, that put an end to any idea of him being a one-hit wonder.

Lil Nas X has experienced a wild journey over the past six months that is otherwise only fit for a Hollywood film. Having little over $5 in his bank account and working minimum wage jobs, he went from writing songs in his bedroom to having the number-one song in the world and performing in front of hundreds of thousands of fans of all ages who were singing along to his song.

It makes sense given that he previously studied how to use the internet as a marketing tool and go viral.

Most recently, on the final day of pride month, Lil Nas came out as gay. Additionally, he is dismantling boundaries and receiving a lot more support from the country and hip-hop communities than was originally anticipated.

I haven't seen anyone navigate the entertainment business as skillfully as Lil Nas X and climb the ladder to the top of the game as expertly as this man - in, well, forever. So much more information has emerged since his break, though.

He'll undoubtedly appear on the list as one of the most well-known individuals, possibly taking the top spot.

On April 9, 1999, Montero Lamar Hill, now known as Lil Nas X, was born in Atlanta, Georgia's Grady Hospital. Nas hails from a large family that includes 4 sisters and 6 brothers, 5 of them are his biological siblings.

Growing up with so many siblings, he claims that they would constantly quarrel. When Montero was around 6 years old, his parents divorced, and he was living in the Bankhead Courts public housing project in Atlanta with his mother and grandmother.

When Nas was around 10 years old, his father took him to Austell, Georgia, to live with him after winning custody in what he described as a court struggle.

When he was 14, he eventually relocated to the little town of Lithia Springs, Georgia, which has a population of roughly 15,000 people.

Lil Nas revealed to us that he lost touch with his mother shortly after and still has no idea of her whereabouts now. Lil Nas' father served as the motivation for him to start writing music. Growing up with a gospel singer for a father who also worked in a warehouse inspired Lil Nas to pursue music as a career.

Lil Nas excelled in all of his studies and was academically brilliant, but his favorite subject was math. Fortunately, he can now utilize that to add up all of his streaming figures and earnings.

Alfred Blalock Elementary School, Lindsey Middle School, and Pebble Brook High School were all places he attended. He graduated from Pebble Brook High School at the top of his class.

However, before rapping on records, he was a Taco Bell employee packaging burritos. Within a year, he also worked at Six Flags and Zaxby's in order to put the money back into his music passion.

He claims that he was inspired not just by his father's musical prowess but also by the fact that he contributed to Nas's phone bill, which was probably quite hefty given the frequency of Nas's tweets and Instagram posts at the time.

Lil Nas enjoyed watching cartoons in his free time, but prior to rapping, Nas was an avid musician. Before turning his attention to songwriting, he played the trumpet and drums.

It hppened quite quickly in terms of his rap career, and Lil Nas said of it, "Honestly, I made a rap song last year because I was bored. Everyone favored it. I kept producing them. But I didn't begin to take music seriously until I had recorded maybe five songs."

"Shame" was the first song he ever posted online, and Naserati was the title of his debut mixtape. Before "Old Town Road" became Lil Nas' breakthrough song and his biggest online hit, he released close to 20 tracks.

However, Lil Nas was accustomed to using the internet. He used to sit and research how to use the internet as a marketing tool and become viral. In truth, there are a lot of internet theories circulating that Lil Nas actually became popular before OTR, but for reasons unrelated to music.

Lil Nas was skilled at using online tricks. Lil Nas opted to go to college after high school and was admitted at West Georgia University. He attended classes for eight months before quitting to focus entirely on his music career. He wasn't entirely sure how he was going to pull it off at the time, though.

Every night he would sit and dream about his accomplishments. Lil Nas's father was not happy with his choice to leave college, saying that there are a million rappers in the world and the odds of success are one in a million. Lil Nas believed he might be the one in a million despite the fact that this is accurate.

He admitted to us that he had never experienced a particularly significant inspiration, but that the internet as a whole had done so.

In addition to being a fan of Nicki Minaj, Lil Nas spent his nights tweeting about his music and creating memes with it playing in the background. He also creates amazing memes.

Nothing was working at first.

In an interview with Time magazine, he stated that he would likely only get three hours of sleep before staying up late at his sster's place to promote his music online before returning home.

His sister had about had it with Lil Nas and his musical aspirations at the time. He was aware that he would need to change his plan of action if something didn't happen quickly.

Nas once came across a beat on YouTube that resembled a Country song with trap drums added on top of it. So, for $30, he purchased the beat from Young Kio's internet beat store.

He dropped the hit, Old Town Road which turned out to be a great deal as millions of memes were created on the Tic Toc app due to the song's originality.

When the beat dropped and the caption "horses in the back" started to appear everywhere, people would start acting like cowboys.

Lil Nas X shared a portion of the song, which is now called "Old Town Road," on his Instagram on December 4, 2018. People began to become interested in the tune, which appeared to be a country trap song.

A week later, Nas uploaded the official music using the Triller app on his Instagram with the remark "yeee haw." Within a few months, videos with the music playing in the background and the hashtag "yeehaw" received millions of views on Tic Toc and Twitter.

Then Justin Bieber took it a step further by posting a screenshot of the song online. It appeared as though he was headed for success after the song received so many streams that it reached number 19 on the Billboard Hot country charts.

However, Billboard delisted the song from the country music charts on the grounds that it didn't sufficiently reflect contemporary country music.

Then, the song started trending on Twitter a day later after the internet defended Lil Nas.

However, Billy Ray Cyrus arrived on a horse wearing a new cowboy hat, and he contacted Lil Nas about joining the remix. On April 4, the remix was made available on YouTube and other streaming platforms, and as of this writing, the audio had about 300 million views.

One of the most recent viral sensations, the song ultimately peaked at number one on the global charts.

Lil Nas recently released his debut studio EP, "7," which features the songs "Panini" and "Rodeo" alongside Cardi B. He also inked a deal with Columbia. When we first spoke with him, he stated he just wanted to keep doing music and get into acting, modeling, and other things because he never wants to be put in a box.

Due to the EP's success on the country, hip-hop, and rock charts, he actually did it.

The last song, "Closure," also had a hint about his statement, which would subsequently be made on Twitter.

No more arguing against him. We also get the impression that he's here to stay and will stick around for a while. Old Town Road really featured a 9 Inch Nails sample.
