From the state of Michigan, Ann Arbor to be precise rose two brothers who were loved by many for their talent, determination and how easy they went about their dance moves.

Ayleo Bowles, born October 30 1996 and his younger brother Mateo Bowles, born August 29, 1999 are generally known by their stage names  Ayo & Teo.

The duo dancers started off posting videos of themselves dancing on social media, and over the span of two years, they were able to create a befitting career for themselves and had the popular opinion of being hophops youngest and brightest stars.

Over the opening years of their career, they didn't only dance with usher on stage at the BET awards but also in his music video for his song  No Limit as well.

Before long, vogue actually named the pair one of the hundred most creative and dominating voices both in fashion and culture.

More like these two were trying to warn us of the pandemic, they had these customized look of wearing face masks while doing their dance videos and even out during interviews.

When asked why they had their masks on during their dance section, they admitted keeping a weird face while dancing which didn't look so cute and decided to conceal that with a mask. Well, today no one can ask such question as it might be a crime if you don't put on one of those.

As explained by them, their search for a way out of their home state was definitely what brought them out. Speaking to the LA times, the duo narrated the usual nature of individuals living in Michigan and how they live in these small environments without making it out with some few exceptions of individuals who were talented in sports, but that wasn't always favourable even.

Ayo and Teo never pictured themselves settling for less and taking up the 9-5 normal jobs, they wanted something more which they were able to secure.

When the two started out making music, it looked more like they were messing around with beats with Teo mainly singing and Ayo rapping.

At some point, they were more interested in their presentation, the stage movements and how they performed. Learning greatly from Michael Jackson, Missy Elliott and Chris Brown. The music was still much important but the presentation  was getting more attention, making them learn the smooth dance moves.

As they got older, Ayo and Teo got more attached to the dancing aspect of their craft, first off with existing moves, modifying them and later creating their own dance moves.

For a great part of their lives, these two were restricted access to the internet by their father. But when the access was granted, they knew exactly how to use it to achieve their dream.

The brothers created their own social media page, dishing out series of smooth dance moves which attracted lots of attention with most going viral on different platforms. They also got involved in different dance challenges, building an online presence for them selves.

It was at this point the Bowles brothers unleashed one of their super cards, the reverse dance move which was simply an  actual reverse of some of the trending and established dance moves at that time.

The reverse move got viral enough for Usher to slide into their DMs, creating a great breakthrough for them. They never could have imagined being invited to dance on stage at BET awards let alone being in a music video (No Limit) released by the iconic dancer and artist, Usher

In no time, these two were officially one of the hottest acts in hiphop and were looking to capitalize even further. Knowing that their dancing skills no matter how good could only take them thus far in the game, the brothers decided to unleash their rapping talents upon the world with their very first single "In Reverse" .

Just then, Columbia records came knocking, offering them their very first recording contract ever. Soon afterwards, further songs like Better Off alone and most importantly Rolex would drop.

Rolex did not only surprise them but did marvelously well that they still made some remark to it when speaking with Hip-hop DX recently. They were so perplexed at the scores it produced, hundreds of million streams on YouTube getting really close to a billion, and the upspring in the Bill board Hot ranking.

For them at that time, they were just having fun. They had fans and they knew how to dance so they just thought of putting out the song and it did amazingly well.

Shortly after Rolex's huge success, the duo began working with other artists like Lil Yachty, Childish Gambino, Chris brown and even XXX tentacion before his untimely passing.

That didn't stop them tho, they competed the track tittled fallen angels and included it in their first EP (flying ghetto ) in his honour.

Lately, the two teamed up with their good friend Usher to star in the shortlived quiby series  "The Sauce", this series followed the brothers as they explored the unique dancing cultures that exist throughout the United States while also teaching some of the freshest online talents to compete for head to head cash prizes.

Unfortunately, quibi as a platform was far shortlived due to the pandemic situation. Regardless, the brothers would quickly bounce back undiscouraged and create their own dancing series called Ayo and Teo universe.

The one hour variety show is usually filmed from their Atlanta Georgia home where they talk about latest fashion and entertainment topics amongst dance medleys with their team and more.

While Ayo used to date Klondike Blonde before breaking up in 2019, Teo had his girlfriend as Cleopatra Dues. Currently, Cleopatra Dues is single and not dating anyone.

It is also worth mentioning that fans still wait in anticipation for the long awaited debut studio album. Officially, no word has been mentioned as to when the album will be released but we hope that will be done in the nearest future.
